The Nordic Championships Adult Standard is a highlight of the international DanceSport calendar, bringing together elite adult couples from across the Nordic region to compete for the prestigious Nordic title in one of ballroom dancing’s most respected disciplines.
Couples will perform the full five-dance Standard programme - Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Slow Foxtrot and Quickstep - showcasing elegance, precision, musicality and technical excellence. The competition is judged in accordance with WDSF rules and international standards, ensuring the highest level of fairness and sporting credibility.
Hosted as part of the Norway International Dance Championships, the Nordic Championships Adult Standard offers dancers the opportunity to measure themselves against the very best in the region, while providing spectators with a captivating display of world-class ballroom dance.
