Elite Youth Couples Competing in All Five Standard Dances

The Nordic Championship Youth Standard is a prestigious regional title event bringing together the strongest Youth couples from the Nordic countries to compete at the highest level of Standard ballroom dance. Contested in full accordance with the regulations of the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF), this championship represents excellence, tradition and competitive integrity in DanceSport.

Five Standard Dances – One Nordic Title

Couples compete in all five Standard dances as defined by WDSF rules:

  • Waltz

  • Tango

  • Viennese Waltz

  • Slow Foxtrot

  • Quickstep

This complete five-dance championship format demands versatility, endurance and refined partnership. To claim the Nordic title, couples must demonstrate consistency, technical precision and musical interpretation across the entire Standard programme.
