The Nordic DanceSport League – Junior Solo Level 1 is an inspiring and accessible entry point into competitive DanceSport for Junior solo dancers across the Nordic region. Designed to support confidence, skill development and performance experience, this level offers a structured yet flexible competition format tailored to young dancers competing independently.
As part of the Nordic DanceSport League, Junior Solo Level 1 provides a professional and motivating environment where emerging talent can take their first competitive steps.
One-Dance Competition Format – Freedom to Choose
Junior Solo Level 1 follows a one-dance competition format, where each dance is judged as a stand-alone event. Dancers may choose to compete in any of the eight Standard and Latin dances, depending on their strengths, preparation and personal goals:

There is no combined overall result, allowing dancers to focus on individual performances and build experience one dance at a time.
