Flexible, Inclusive and Competitive DanceSport for Solo Dancers
The Nordic DanceSport League – Adult Level 1 (Female Solo) is a modern and accessible DanceSport competition format created for female solo dancers aged 18 and over who want the freedom to compete on their own terms. Designed for adult dancers across the Nordic region and beyond, this level offers an inspiring entry point into competitive DanceSport—without the need for a partner.
Part of the Nordic DanceSport League, Adult Level 1 focuses on enjoyment, progression and participation, while maintaining a structured, fair and professionally organised competition environment.
One Dance at a Time – Total Freedom of Choice
Adult Level 1 follows a one-dance competition format, where each dance is judged as a stand-alone competition. Solo dancers may choose to compete in any number of the eight Standard and Latin dances, depending on preference, strengths and ambition:

There is no combined overall result. Each dance is evaluated independently, allowing dancers to focus on the styles they enjoy most and to build confidence one performance at a time.

This level is ideal for adult female dancers who are new to competition, returning to DanceSport, or looking for a flexible and low-threshold competitive format. Competing solo allows dancers to develop technique, musicality and performance skills independently, while enjoying a motivating and supportive environment.
